University of the South graduate (C'91) Rondal Richardson currently serves as Entertainment and Donor Relations Liaison for The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Rondal has spent a storied career in marketing and managerial positions for numerous entertainment industry clients across the country, including Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, and Wynonna Judd. In the last several years Rondal has collaborated with various artists including Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban on charitable endeavors, raising $145 million for charities around the world.
Rondal served as Entertainment Industry Relations Manager for Vanderbilt University from 2010-2015 where he built a national entertainment platform for philanthropic reach and facilitated health care access to the music community. This included projects for Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Scott Hamilton, Lady A, Darius Rucker, and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, among many others.
Rondal is the recipient of the University of the South's Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award for Character and currently serves on its Board of Trustees. Additionally, he has served on the board of directors of the W. O. Smith Community Music School, Musicians on Call, St. Andrew's Sewanee, and The Sports Fund, and has actively volunteered with the American Red Cross, The Oasis Center, United Cerebral Palsy, Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Possibilities Inc, CASA, Tennessee Respite Coalition, and the Nashville Humane Association. Rondal is currently a two-decade voting member of the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music.
