The grants committee for the Spring grant round was faced with a challenging task. With over $226,000 in excellent requests to consider, the committee had a budget of $109,000 to award. The committee deliberated, considering which projects met the priorities of education, health, and economic development and made awards to 18 organizations, eight of which received partial funding. Donations to SCCF are critical to our ability to be effective partners with excellent community organizations, including churches, schools, city and county government entities, and nonprofit organizations.
