Sibby Anderson-Thompkins is vice provost for diversity, equity, and inclusion at the University of the South. In that role, she is committed to understanding and building strong connections with the community. Her understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion is expansive, and she is committed to serving the communities where many Sewanee employees live. Anderson-Thompkins has a long career in higher education and some of the nation's top schools, and she has been deeply connected with service to the community wherever she has lived.
Scott Parrish is currently the General Manager of the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly. Prior to coming to the South Cumberland Plateau, Scott had a career in the industrial distribution industry until he decided to move to the nonprofit sector fourteen years ago. Scott served as Vice President of Advancement at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee prior to coming to the Monteagle Assembly in 2010.
Lecia and her family moved from South Pittsburg to the Mountain in 2016. She has served on the parents council of St. Andrew's Sewanee School and as a board member of Sewanee Elementary PTO, and is chief technology officer at Tower Community Bank.
Christi Teasley is an artist and educator living and working in Monteagle,Tennessee. Christi taught studio art and directed the Gallery and Visiting Artist Program at St. Andrew’s-Sewanee School (SAS). After serving for 27 years at SAS, she continues to work on the school's planning team for Shakerag Workshops, a top-notch series of studio art workshops for adults held on the SAS campus every June. Christi serves on the leadership teams of Grundy Area Arts Council and Tennessee Craft South as treasurer for both organizations. She is also a liaison with the Marion County Arts Council and the Franklin County Artisans Guild, and is leading a new communications committee for the Grundy County Library Board.
